CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Patch reader Glenn Hori shared this photo of a wood duck in the Contra Costa Canal, taken on the Pleasant Hill side of the canal, just at the border with Concord.
Did you know male wood ducks are the most vividly colored of all North American ducks? That's according to the Nature Mapping Foundation.
