Free Preparation of Advance Health Care Directives for Seniors!

New Free Legal Clinic: Advance Health Care Directives Prepared in "Community Partners Clinic: CCSLS and CSAA IG"

Just 3 weeks ago, 40-year-old non-profit Contra Costa Senior Legal Services opened a unique new free bi-monthly clinic for seniors, called the "Community Partners Clinic: CCSLS and CSAA IG." This clinic will be staffed by volunteers from CSAA Insurance Group's Legal Division and hosted by the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. The clinic will prepare important Advance Health Care Directives (AHCD) for seniors, tailored to each senior’s individual wishes in a private, 45-minute appointment. An AHCD is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone else to make health care decisions on your behalf when you are no longer able. Free notaries will also be available during the clinic.

The clinic will be held the 2nd Tuesday of every other month via appointment only from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. See dates listed below. Seniors aged 60 and older who reside in Contra Costa County can make an appointment by calling the Pleasant Hill Senior Center's front desk at (925) 798-8788. There are no income limitations for this clinic and no fees of any kind.

Upcoming Clinic dates: Jan. 10th, March 14th, May 9th
