The first happened in the area of Monument Blvd and Virginia Lane, where police found a man suffering from a non-life threatening injury Friday night. The shooter has not been caught. - Our own Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11), along with Congressman Joe Sempolinski (NY-23) announced a bipartisan bill that will expand access to "assistive technologies" to help people with disabilities live more independently. The 21st Century Assistive Technology Act was first enacted in 1998, but has not been reauthorized since 2004. (East County Today)
