The case remained under investigation as of Sunday, police said.
CONCORD, CA — Concord residents in the Buckthorn Court area were given the all clear after a brief shelter in place order was issued on Saturday evening when someone with a firearm was reported in the neighborhood.
Concord police responded to the neighborhood just before 7 p.m. after receiving a call about a potential crime being committed by someone with a firearm, according to a statement from the Concord Police Department on Sunday.
A shelter in place order was issued out of what police said was an abundance of caution. It was lifted shortly afterward after it was determined there was no active threat in the neighborhood.
