Road Blocked After Vehicle Crashes Off Marsh Creek Road
At about 4 a.m. Wednesday, a car went off Marsh Creek Road and landed down a hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — The eastbound lane of Marsh Creek Road just east of Gill Drive in
unincorporated Contra Costa County has been closed since early Wednesday morning as a tow truck attempts to recover a vehicle that crashed and ended up at the bottom of a hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the crash was first reported at 4:08 a.m. Wednesday.
Paramedics responded to the scene but the extent of any injuries was not immediately known.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were initially closed but the westbound lane has since reopened.
There was no estimated time of reopening of the eastbound lane.
