Teen Killed After Crashing Into Tree On Alhambra In Martinez

MARTINEZ, CA – An 18-year-old Martinez man was killed when his car crashed into a tree Tuesday night, a Martinez police spokesman said.

Randy Hendrickson was trapped inside his car in the area of Alhambra Avenue and Benham Drive when police arrived. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Witness reports have indicated that Hendrickson may have been traveling at a high rate of speed, Martinez Police Cpl. Mike Estanol said.

Police closed the area shortly after 9 p.m. during the investigation.
