Tickets Go on Sale Saturday for 5 Seconds of Summer

The Concord Pavilion has announced its first show for the 2015 season. The Australian pop rock boy band 5 Seconds of Summer will play the facility on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 9 at 10 a.m.

Because of the last minute nature of the announcement, there will not be time for the Concord resident presale program, which usually offers tickets to residents the day before they go on sale to the general public. As an alternative, the Pavilion will hold a limited number of tickets in each price range for Concord residents. Concord residents buying tickets this Saturday with the general public can choose from the tickets put on hold for this purpose. Any tickets not sold on Aug. 9 will be available to Concord residents during the Maze concert pre-sale day on Friday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Pavilion box office opens at 10 a.m. To participate, residents must bring a utility bill and driver’s license (or other government-issued ID) with matching addresses to the Pavilion box office. A special resident hotline at (925) 363-5701 has more information. The box office is located at the entrance to the facility at 2000 Kirker Pass Road.

All concert-goers can buy tickets with no service charge at the box office on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for any show at the Pavilion.
