UPDATE: Lockdown Lifted At John Muir ER In Concord
The report began when a man walked into the emergency room with a stab wound to the chest.

The lockdown at John Muir Medical Center in Concord was lifted this afternoon after a person walked into the emergency room with a stab wound to the chest, a Concord police corporal said.
A stabbing victim walked into the emergency room just after 3 p.m., Concord police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
The victim told the emergency room staff that the stabbing had just occurred at the John F. Baldwin Park, located at 2790 Parkside Circle, and Blakely said the staff was in possession of the knife.

Emergency room staff placed the department on lockdown but as of around 4:00 p.m., Blakely said the lockdown had been lifted.
