What Concord Is Adding To Night Market Downtown

CONCORD, CA — Concord will add something new to its Night Market on Sept. 11: a cultural festival that combines live performances, food, and family activities with a remembrance of 9/11.

Performers, dancers, musicians, and vendors will fill Todos Santos Plaza during the inaugural Cultural Festival at the Concord Night Market from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 11.

The festival will honor and remember 9/11 while celebrating Concord’s cultures and diversity.

Joe Yncio, Daze Margarita, Uriel HB, Miss Nana, the Matahani Tahitian Dancers, and Batuki performers will provide entertainment.

The event will also feature live music, children’s activities, food and dessert vendors, and local artisans. Organizers describe the festival as family-friendly and pet-friendly.
