Winter Walk: The Bones of the Garden

Enjoy the stories of amazing plants woven into a wintertime walk with horticultural consultant and educator, Patrice Hanlon.

There are many things to encounter on a winter stroll through Markham Arboretum’s collection

of trees in its leafless winter state.

We’ll look at the shape and architecture of different species of trees, including some not-so-naked specimens.

We will end the walk with hot tea and Patrice will share some of her favorite books about trees and plant stories.
