Advisory: Navy Training Blank Weapons Fire Set for Thursday

The Navy is conducting training Thursday, March 20, from about 7 a.m. to noon, near Naval Amphibious Base beaches along State Route 75.  

Expect to hear small arms blank gunfire and grenade simulators as well as see colored smoke flares during training exercises. 

The Navy recognizes the importance of being good neighbors with the local communities and makes every effort to abate noise when possible. Noise complaints can be directed to 619-545-8233.
