Big Changes Could Be Coming To Coronado's Glenn Curtiss Park: How To Weigh In

Residents can share ideas for park improvements during a public workshop as the city prepares a grant application.

CORONADO, CA — The city will host a community workshop Wednesday to gather public input on potential improvements to Glenn Curtiss Park, formerly known as Palm Park.

The city is exploring improvements to the park through a potential grant from the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program.

Community feedback will help city officials identify priorities for new recreational opportunities and park upgrades as they prepare a grant application. Funding through the competitive program is not guaranteed.

Residents are encouraged to attend the workshop, share ideas and discuss possible improvements with their neighbors.

Glenn Curtiss Park is bordered by I Avenue, Palm Avenue and Third Street.

Additional meeting dates, locations and opportunities to provide feedback are available on the city's Glenn Curtiss Park project page.
