The San Diego Chargers have announced that enough tickets have been sold to allow for a live local telecast of Thursday's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers at Qualcomm Stadium.
The Chargers announced Saturday they had to sell more than 3,000 more tickets by 5 p.m. Monday to allow for the live local telecast.
The game will be televised in the San Diego area by KFMB-TV Channel 8 and nationally by ESPN.
