City of Coronado to Observe Columbus Day on Monday

Some city services and facilities will be closed. The school district is also observing the holiday.

CORONADO, CA — The city of Coronado will observe the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, Oct. 10, and issued a news release to remind residents and businesses of which municipal facilities will remain open and which will be closed.

The city's police, fire and lifeguard safety personnel will be on duty. Public services will be on call over the holiday to respond to emergencies but will not sweep streets Monday.

The Coronado Unified School District is also observing the holiday and all schools are closed.

EDCO will perform regular residential trash collection.
