Comic-Con Day 2: Sights and Sounds Outside the Con

Comic-Con International continues to burst out the seams of the San Diego Convention Center and Saturday was a perfect example.

Throughout the Gaslamp there were Con happenings and promotions.

At Petco Park, Con goers were lining up for the second year in a row to participate in a "Walking Dead" obstacle course.

Not far away, in a parking lot across the street, TNT was showcasing its alien invasion series "Falling Skies" and the upcoming George Clooney/Sandra Bullock movie "Gravity" was being previewed inside a giant bus converted into a trailer.

Although a trailer of "Gravity" has already made the rounds, a clip from the movie provided a better sense of the terrifying space accident that imperils Clooney and Bullock's characters.

Meanwhile, long lines continued to rule the day at Hall H, which had several major panels, including "The Walking Dead." Fans waited for up to five hours to see that panel and still couldn't get in. But they got a thrill when Norman Reedus, who plays one of the show's most popular characters came out on the balcony overlooking the lines and waved to everyone.

NBC promoted three of its shows, creating a highly-detailed replica of the spice shop from "Grimm" and erecting Dracula's castle and tomb for it's new fall show, "Dracula."

But the most impressive display of the Con so far has been the one for "Ender's Game," a beloved book that is now a major motion picture starring Harrison Ford.

The studio created a large walk-through exhibit featuring clips from the movie, a replica of the young hero Ender's home and sets and props from the movie.

The sets were amazing and thrilled fans who got to explore the multi-room exhibit.

Check out the images from Day 2 of the Con.
