What's Closed, What's Open on Labor Day in Coronado: City
Here's what you need to know about the city's observance of the holiday.

CORONADO, CA — Residents and businesses in the city of Coronado were reminded Monday of which city facilities and services will remain open and which will be closed next Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.
City Hall and the Library will be closed for the holiday, but public safety personnel with the city's Police, Fire and Lifeguard departments will be on duty, according to the City Manager's Office. Public Services will be on call during the holiday to respond to emergencies but will not sweep streets.
The following city facilities will be open on Labor Day:

- Aquatics Center, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- Club Room and Boathouse, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.;
- Community Center, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- Golf Course, open;
- Skatepark, 10 a.m. to dusk; and
- Tennis Center, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
City officials also noted that EDCO will not perform regular residential trash collection on Labor Day. As a result, service will be delayed one day.
