The Coronado Optimist Club, Coronado Recreation
Department, Police Department and Holland’s Bikes have partnered with The
Coronado Bicycle Advisory Committee for the second annual Bicycle Rodeo and Safe Cycling Festival. A fun bike event
designed to teach young bicyclists the skills needed to be safer cyclists. Certified cycling instructors will be on hand from Safe
Moves to run the bicycle-handling skills "Rodeo" portion
of the event.
The Coronado
Police will be there registering bikes free of charge and reviewing proper
locking techniques. You can help the CPD
fight bike thefts by locking with a U-lock and registering your bikes!
