Coronado City Offices Closed for Holidays

The city of Coronado will observe the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.

CORONADO, CA – The city of Coronado will observe the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2. Most municipal facilities, except for the Coronado Municipal Golf Course and public safety offices, will close.

Coronado Police and Fire will be staffed for the holidays. Public Services will be on call over the holidays to respond to emergencies.

Certain city departments and services will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Public Services crews will not sweep streets on either holiday. EDCO will not perform regular residential trash collection on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. The Coronado Municipal Golf Course will be open on both holidays and the Coronado Skatepark will be open from 1 p.m. to dusk only on New Year’s Day.
