The City of Coronado recently posted bicycle-friend signs. The blue and white signs announce the League of American Bicyclists designation of Coronado as a "Bicycle Friendly Community."
The organization awards the honor to communities that have "made a commitment to improving conditions for bicycling through investment in bicycling promotion, education programs, infrastructure and pro-bicycling policies."
The signs were installed in the bike lanes along Glorietta Boulevard and Sixth Street.
