Video: Coronado Prep to Be in Dunk Contest at Senior All-Star Game

A Coronado prep basketball player will join boys and girls basketball players from high schools across the county Friday as part of the 2013 Senior All-Star Game at Horizon Christian High School.

The teams were selected by the San Diego County Basketball Coaches Association. The girls game begins at 5:30 p.m. while the boys play at 8 p.m.

There also will be a boys and girls 3-Point Shootout and a Boys Slam Dunk Contest during the evening. Coronado's Dylan Gouthro is one of eight young men who'll be judged on their dunking ability.

The 3-Point Contests will be at halftime of each game. The Dunk Contest will be at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Tickets will only be available at the door and will cost $12 for adults and $8 for students. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m.
