
The Crown City Reciprocity of the P.E.O., an international philanthropic educational organization, is offering a $1000 Coronado Star Award scholarship for women in the High School Class of 2014. Winners will also automatically compete for a $2500 PEO national scholarship.
The scholarship will be for post-secondary education at an educational institution in the United States or Canada and the winner must be a Coronado resident or attend Coronado High School. Primary criteria include excellence in academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success.

Applications include completion of a Student Profile Form (including information on extracurricular activities and community service), a single page essay, a high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation. Finalists will be interviewed. Deadline for applications is Monday, September 16th.
