Earthquake Near Coronado Shakes San Diego County
The quake was reported early Wednesday morning. Did you feel it?

CORONADO, CA – A magnitude 3.5 earthquake shook the San Diego County area early Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The quake was recorded at 1:11 a.m. about 22 miles west-southwest of Coronado.
The temblor was centered approximately:
- 21.7 miles west-southwest of Coronado
- 23 miles southwest of La Jolla
- 24.9 miles west of Imperial Beach
- 26.1 miles west-southwest of San Diego
- 28.6 miles west of Chula Vista
Residents in San Diego, Chula Vista, Encinitas, Spring Valley and El Cajon reported feeling the quake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
