Auf Wiedersehen, Ja ne, Arrivederci, Aloha, Adios, Adeus, zai jian, Yasou, Tot ziens. It does not matter in what language you say it, it still means the same: "Good-bye". The artists of "Either to Please or to Educate" bid us farewell. We came together to express the idea that Art is for everyone and can be about anything. In Paris during the 17th century, artists were only allowed to display work in salons if they were a member of the Academie, therefore other artists were forced to the underground where they found other means of displaying their work. The Undiscovered Gallery took this theme, and selected a collection of artwork stating that despite concept, scale, medium, or background artists can manifest their creative freedom. What used to be the underground is now the Undiscovered Gallery, and we have surfaced to show the masses what Art is all about.
Friday, June 22nd, from 5:30 to 8:00pm, make your way to the third floor of Coronado Plaza where the gallery sits, and experience a night of pleasant schmoozing and boozing. Enjoy refreshments on the patio and bask in the words of Gill Sotu who performs at 6:30pm.

You don't want to miss out! I believe it was George Mallory, the Himalayan climber, who uttered, "What we get from this adventure is just sheer joy. And joy is, after all, the end of life. We do not live to eat and make money. We eat and make money to be able to live. That is what life means and what life is for." So what are you waiting for?
