Too fast, too furious, and too much fun is what is in store this weekend on Mission Bay. The fastest boats from all over the world gather in San Diego for the 48th annual San Diego Bayfair.
Bayfair will feature hydroplane, drag boat, offshore boats, Pro Stocks and tunnel boat racing all weekend long.
The main events are the the Lucas Oil Drag Boat and the Air National Guard Hydroplane races. These boat races are expected to be as fast as 200 miles per hour.

In between the races, stop by vendor village and enjoy performances from 22 live musical bands. Inside the vendor village will be food booths, activities for the kids, and beer gardens.
There is something for everyone! The first race is on Friday Sept. 14 at 8 a.m.

Admission into the vendor village is free. Tickets for boat racing start at $20 for a one-day pass or $45 for a three-day pass. Children under 12 are free. Ticket info is available online.
