Gas Prices Continue to Soar; Where to Find it Cheap in Coronado
The least expensive gallon of regular gasoline can be found at the Valero at 400 Orange Ave. in Coronado for $4.85, according to GasBuddy—unless you can get onto base where the cheapest gas is $4.05 at the NEX Autoport.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose today for the 13th consecutive day, increasing 1.2 cents to $4.243, its highest amount since March 6, 2013.
The average price has increased 20.8 cents over the past 13 days, including 3.1 cents on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 15.6 cents higher than one week ago, 25.1 cents more than one month ago and 24.6 cents above what it was one year ago.
