Man Hospitalized After Stabbing In Southcrest Neighborhood

SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was hospitalized Thursday morning following a stabbing in the Southcrest area, police said.

Dispatchers received a call shortly before 1:10 a.m. from someone reporting a stabbing in the 1100 block of South 43rd Street, San Diego Police public-affairs Officer Billy Hernandez said.

Officers responded to the area and found a man suffering from at least one stab wound to his torso, Hernandez said.

No update on the man's condition or a detailed description of the suspect were immediately available.

Department detectives were investigating the stabbing.
