Deputies from the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation conducted a DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint on September 3, 2021, at the 900 block of Palm Avenue in the city of Imperial Beach. The following are the results of the checkpoint:

Vehicles sent to secondary for further evaluation: 38

Field sobriety tests conducted: 0

DUI alcohol arrests: 0

DUI combo drug/alcohol arrests: 0

Total citations: 19

Additionally, 17 drivers were cited for operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license or suspended driver's license, and 2 vehicles were towed.
