SDSU Human Resource Certificate Courses Start in January

The Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management program at SDSU begins spring semester classes Jan. 6.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projected a 15.5 percent employment growth in the human resources field between 2012 and 2022, which is faster than the average for all occupations. It equates to 35,400 new jobs for HR training specialists during that time, according to U.S. News & World Report.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will train you to enter this thriving field through its Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management program that begins spring semester classes Jan. 6.

The need for HR professionals is further illustrated by the fact that every company – no matter how small or large – must provide human resources functions. Many of those functions have been streamlined, creating a need for professionals who can hire, train, manage, retain, and develop the workforce.

“I learned how to be more successful in managing difficult situations. This course was great for showing emphasis on documentation and communication.
