USNS Mercy Due Back in San Diego From 4-Month Humanitarian Mission
The Coronado-based Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21 accompanied the Mercy for the 11th annual Pacific Partnership.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The hospital ship USNS Mercy is scheduled to return to San Diego Friday following the 11th annual Pacific Partnership humanitarian mission.
The Mercy and its crew of sailors, medical personnel, engineers and representatives of aid organizations left San Diego in May, and made stops in Timor Leste, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Palau and Indonesia.
The participants provided medical and dental care, helped with building project and worked on disaster response exercises.
