Woman Found Dead In RV; May Be Coronado Suicide Victim's GF
Detectives were investigating a woman's death in a RV park, and trying to determine whether she had a connection to a suicide victim.
SAN DIEGO — Homicide detectives Sunday were investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a Bay Ho RV park, and trying to determine whether she had a connection to a man who jumped to his death from the Coronado Bridge a day earlier, police said.
At 11:41 a.m., a caller asked San Diego police to check on a woman living in an RV in the 5700 block of Santa Fe Drive, saying that woman neither answered her phone nor repeated knocks on her door. The caller explained that the woman's boyfriend had committed suicide by jumping from the Coronado bridge Saturday, which was why she – the caller – had tried to contact her.
Officers went to the RV and entered it to discover a woman's body with signs of trauma to the upper portion. It was not immediately clear just how she died nor how long she had been dead.
