2 Injured When Culver City Chase Ends In Crash; Driver At Large
A motorist who led police on a short chase in Culver City early Tuesday morning remains at large, police said.
CULVER CITY, CA — A motorist who led police on a short chase in Culver City early Tuesday morning remains at large after crashing a pickup truck and fleeing on foot, according to police.
Officers attempted to pull over the truck at around 1:45 a.m. near Sepulveda and Jefferson boulevards, according to the Culver City Police Department. Police wanted to conduct the traffic stop because the vehicle did not have license plates, according to KTLA.
The driver refused to stop for police and sped away, KTLA reported.

The driver then lost control and crashed near Green Valley Circle. The truck flipped over and hit a concrete light pole, police said.
The driver fled on foot. Police deployed a drone to help with the search, but eventually called off the search after the suspect evaded officers.

Two passengers were detained and transported to a local hospital after sustaining minor injuries, police said.
