2 Sought In Armed Robbery Of Culver City Gas Station

Authorities released a video showing two men threatening clerks at a gas station with handguns as they robbed the store of $4,000.

CULVER CITY, CA — Police were searching for two men who robbed two gas station clerks at gunpoint over the weekend in Culver City.

Patrol officers received a call at 9:23 p.m. after the Shell Gas Station at 10332 Culver Blvd. was robbed. The responding officers met with three victims who reported the two armed men. The men reportedly forced two employees onto the floor as they removed cash from the register, the Culver City Police Department said in a statement.

In surveillance footage released by police Monday, the men can be seen threatening the workers with handguns, one firearm was a silver and black semi-automatic.

One of the men also entered a back office, where he pointed a gun at the manager's head and demanded more money. Fearing for her life, she complied, police said. Both suspects then exited the store with at least $4,000 in cash and coins as they fled eastbound on Culver Boulevard on foot.

Both suspects were still at large on Tuesday.

One suspect was described as a male between ages 20 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. The man was wearing a gray hoodie, a black face mask, black shorts, black shoes and has tattoos on his hand. The second suspect was about the same age, was 5 feet 10 inches tall and likely weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black "Adidas" hoodie, a skeleton face mask, blue plastic gloves, black pants and black shoes.
