4 Carjacking Suspects At Large After Culver City Search
The driver of the stolen SUV was injured in the attack, and four suspects eluded a police perimeter set up in Culver City Tuesday.
CULVER CITY, CA — Residents of a Culver City neighborhood were directed to shelter-in-place early Tuesday morning as police searched for four suspects linked to a violent carjacking. However, the suspects evaded a police perimeter, and all four remained on the loose Thursday.
The suspects carjacked the owner of a Mercedes-Benz SUV in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles at about 1:30 a.m., and then fled to Culver City, KTLA reported.
Police spent hours searching for them in the area around Jacob Street and Caroline Avenue, where one of the suspects was spotted, according to authorities. A perimeter was established, and a suspect was seen hopping fences in the area, KTLA reported.
