BB Gun Found On Culver City High School Campus

CULVER CITY, CA – Culver City police responded to Culver City High School Thursday after school officials and police became aware of a social media post depicting a student with a firearm on school property.

The Culver City Police Department immediately responded to CCHS and found a BB gun, police said.

"CCPD personnel is on school grounds and is fully investigating the situation," the press release said. "It should be noted that there was no threat made against school staff or students and there is no imminent threat at this time."

CCPD will release more information when the investigation is complete.
