LA Contemporary Dance Company returns to in-person experiences with the premiere of Finding MeeMoo, a film by Artistic Director Jamila Glass, including an interactive dance and costume installation. In this family-friendly film, a young boy embarks on a journey to find his missing toy friend and is aided by a colorful cast of creatures. There will two screenings which feature company members and the work of costume and sculpture artist Mimi Haddon. The film will be narrated by poet Melaina Williams in a whimsical writing style akin to Dr. Seuss.
