Culver City Annual Coastal Cleanup Day
Culver City residents are invited to participate in the world's largest volunteer day to protect our oceans and local waterways,

Coastal Cleanup Day in Culver City on Ballona Creek bike path, from 9 AM to Noon on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
Culver City residents can register on the official Eventbrite page to become a volunteer or visit the the sites listed below. Waivers will be available at each site. For participants under the age of 18, parental consent is required.
Culver City along with thousands of other communities around the world will reduce pollution by sprucing up their local waterways, beaches and neighborhood parks. In Los Angeles County alone, there will be more than 70 cleanup sites, five of which will be along or near the Ballona Creek Bike Path at the following locations:

- Syd Kronenthal Park (3451 McManus Avenue)
- Duquesne Avenue (4339 Duquesne Avenue)
- Overland Avenue (4990 Overland Avenue)
- Sepulveda Boulevard (5000 Sepulveda Boulevard)
- The base parking lots of Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook on Jefferson Boulevard (6503 Jefferson Boulevard)
All cleanup locations will have cleaning supplies, though volunteers are encouraged to bring their own buckets, gloves and refillable water bottles to help reduce waste. To prepare, volunteers can check out the various types of trash they may find on their Coastal Cleanup Day excursions.
