Culver City Elks Lodge #1917 Dictionary Distribution Program

1000's of new dictionaries were distributed to local area schools by Culver City Elks Lodge #1917

Culver City, CA. - Culver City Elks Lodge #1917 has conducted their 2017 Dictionary Program, according to ER Thomas Konkel. Lodge volunteers, lead by PER Marilyn Marble, went to 13 West Los Angeles area schools this year. Under the auspices of grateful principals and teachers, the lodge members presented excited 3rd graders with individual new dictionaries.

For many of the students, this was their first exposure to a new world of English creativity and expression fostered by this medium. The educators have already planned many exciting activities using this new tool.

Marilyn was supported this year by PER Roy Johnson and Blanca Meza. Over 1000 dictionaries were distributed in this year’s program.
