How Should Fox Hills, Hayden Tract Be Redeveloped?

The city is seeking residents' input as it considers how Fox Hills and Hayden Tract should be redeveloped.

CULVER CITY, CA — The city is inviting residents to weigh in on long-term plans that will help guide redevelopment in the Fox Hills and Hayden Tract neighborhoods.

The city is in the process of writing what's known as "specific plans" for the two neighborhoods — documents that outline strategies for development regulations, park improvements, streets and sidewalks, transit and other amenities.

"These plans will guide redevelopment in the Fox Hills and Hayden Tract communities, creating more walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods with improved transit access," the city said in a release.

Officials are hosting an open house 6 p.m. March 18 at the Veterans Memorial Building Garden Room, 4117 Overland Ave., where they'll share information about the project and collect resident feedback.

The materials will be posted online and the meeting will be broadcast virtually. Surveys are also live for Fox Hills and Hayden Tract.
