Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) is seeking submissions for its Summer 2017 Children’s Popcorn Theatre production, performing for six weekends in July and August 2017, outdoors in Carlson Park in Culver City, California. In keeping with Culver City's Centennial celebration, the theme is Culver City’s nickname: “The Heart of Screenland.”

Your play should be 10-15 minutes long, preferably humorous, suitable for a young audience of 5-12 years old, also have some adult appeal, and must include at least one character from The Wizard of Oz. Recommended cast size is 2-4 people, and language should be suitable for our park and our audiences.

Submissions are due by January 1, 2017. Selections will be made by March 1, when CCPT will announce the winning scripts to be performed in our 1-hour show. Please e-mail your submissions and any questions to: info @ccpt.org

Culver City Public Theatre is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to providing admission-free, quality theatre; presenting classic, contemporary, and original productions, in an open-air setting for audiences of all ages.
