Culver Police: Traffic Stop Turns Up Unregistered, Loaded Gun
Culver City police found a loaded, unregistered handgun during a traffic stop Saturday, officials said.
CULVER CITY, CA — A traffic stop in Culver City for vehicle code violations turned up a loaded, unregistered 9mm handgun, police said Sunday.
The traffic stop occurred at approximately 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Washington Boulevard and Helms Avenue, the Culver City Police Department reported.
The handgun allegedly was found inside the vehicle's glove compartment and the motorist was arrested on suspicion of possessing an unregistered, loaded firearm.
