Summer Reading Program kicks off with the magical interactive folklore and story-based plays of "We Tell Stories." Children are chosen from the audience to dress up and participate in the plays. The reading program will begin with "Village of Liver and Onions" and focuses on tales from the Rootabaga Stories of American poet and storyteller Carl Sandburg. Performances are made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment. There is no registrataion required to attend the programs.
