Heavy Winds Knock Out Power To Culver City Residents
Thousands of Department of Water and Power and Southern California Edison customers lost power Thursday evening.

LOS ANGELES, CA — High winds knocked out power to thousands of residents in the West Los Angeles and Culver City areas Thursday evening.
The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power reported widespread power outages across its service area. Specifically, several thousand DWP customers in the Palms area were left without power.
Similarly, Southern California Edison is reporting six outages affecting more than 5,300 customers in various areas of Los Angeles County.
