Jukin Media Expands Culver City Office Space

CULVER CITY, CA – Jukin Media is building a new 14,000 square foot production space right next to it's headquarters in Culver City, according to L.A. Biz. Construction for the new facility will begin October 1, and will include two sound stages, sound mixing suites, video-editing suites, a screening room and a green room, Los Angeles Times reported.

The company will use the studio to branch out in new ways including documentary, travel, lifestyle and competitions, Jukin’s VP of communications and marketing Mike Skogmo told Variety. Now the company aims to bring its expertise in user-generated videos to produce shows for television and online distribution platforms, Variety reported.

Jukin recently announced that one of its videos under the “People Are Awesome” franchise was named the most viewed video uploaded on Facebook with 384 million views and counting, according to Los Angeles Times. The addition will expand Jukin to nearly 30,000 square feet according to L.A. Biz, and the company also has offices in New York, London and Sydney.
