LA City Council Candidate Basler Hosts 'Women To Women' Event
"Learn more about why I'm running to bring bold, compassionate, sustainable solutions to LA City Hall," Basler said.
Press release from Molly Basler:
Feb. 17, 2021
I would love for you to join my Women to Women: The Power of Sisterhood event next Thursday, February 18th from 6-7 pm. For Galentine’s Day this month, I want to celebrate and support women in our community to help raise money for my campaign. Women are 5x less likely to raise as much money as men who are running for office, but I have decided to step up, and I need your help.

As many of you know, I am NOT a career politician, I AM a community organizer, environmental and animal rights activist, and I will BE the public servant that this city needs fighting for the People, Planet, and Animals. Time and time again we have seen the revolving door in LA City Hall, and we are left with:
- Rising homelessness in all our communities
- Lack of urgency to mitigate the climate emergency crisis
- Increased crime in our neighborhoods
I hope you can join me, learn more about why I'm running to bring bold, compassionate, sustainable solutions to LA City Hall.
