LAWTF Program: Looking Back: Stepping Forward!

The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival program, Looking Back: Stepping Forward, at the Ivy Substation.

For one very special night, the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival (LAWTF) comes to Culver City for a unique performance on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The venue will be the Ivy Substation, 9070 Venice Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. The show will be hosted by Ingrid Graham (A Ballerina’s Tale/AMDA Faculty) and Sky Palkowitz (Calling America: Don’t Hang Up!!).

The theme for the evening will be “Looking Back: Stepping Forward!” Six of LAWTF’s encore performers will be featured. Works are excerpted and include:

  • Karen Bankhead (Etta Mae Mumphries: And the Rest is History)
  • Dina Morrone (The Italian In Me)
  • Cheray O’Neal (Journey This)
  • Clarinda Ross (From My Grandmother’s Grandmother Unto Me)
  • The Lindz (WASP)

The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival, a non-profit arts organization, was founded by Executive Producer Adilah Barnes and Miriam Reed.

“Looking Back: Stepping Forward!” marks the LAWTF’s sixth consecutive annual program for residents of Culver City. This performance is made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
