Man Shot In Culver City, Minor Arrested

"The victim of the shooting, a male adult, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," Culver City police said.

CULVER CITY, CA – A man was shot Thursday evening during a confrontation involving a group of people in Culver City.

Four or five males "became involved in a confrontation" about 4 p.m. near the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Machado Road, according to the Culver City Police Department.

"At some point, all of the subjects ran into a nearby parking lot where one of the subjects was shot," according to a police statement. "The victim of the shooting, a male adult, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."

One suspect, described only as a male juvenile, was taken into custody at the scene.

Detailed descriptions of the other suspects, all believed to be 18 to 25 years old, were not immediately released.

The suspects were described as male, between 18-25 years old, possibly wearing backpacks. One of the suspects, a male juvenile, was taken into custody at the scene and the remaining suspects are still outstanding.
