The crime occurred about 11 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Stearns Drive, said Los Angeles Police Department Detective Meghan Aguilar.

The woman was asleep when she woke up to noises and saw what she thought was light from a flashlight. She was then approached by two suspects who covered her head before forcing her into a closet, the detective said. Her name was withheld.

When she came out a little while later, they were gone, Aguilar said. No descriptions were released of the suspects, including whether they were men or women.
