Spring Egg-Stravaganza At Veteran’s Memorial Park Culver City

Hop, walk or bike your way to the Spring Egg-stavaganza at Veteran’s Memorial Park, located at 4117 Overland Ave. on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 from 12 to 4 pm. This free springtime celebration is open to members of the public of all ages and is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Culver City Club.

You can preregister online for your child’s free wristband beginning Monday, March 2nd, 2020. A wristband is required to participate in the egg hunt and other event activities. This year different age groups will begin their egg hunts at various time slots throughout the afternoon, so please make sure to check the schedule. All egg hunts will be kid only. View the schedule and register.

A friendly bunny will be available for photo ops throughout the afternoon and a DJ and MC will keep the music playing. We will have an informal contest corner between egg hunts offering old school games like potato sack races and hula hooping. There will also be face painting onsite.

In addition to our egg hunts the event will feature a variety of inflatables including a dual lane slide, an obstacle course, a toddler jumper and a traditional bounce house. A trackless train will take families on rides around Veterans Memorial Park and Fulcrum Adventures will provide a rock climbing wall to test your skills. Bubblemania and Company will host an interactive bubble station for all ages. Culver City Kiwanis Club will host several fun carnival games and Professor Egghead Science Academy and ReDiscover Center will provide arts and crafts, including some science-based crafts. Attendees can also test out their skating skills with The SKATESIDE instructors and their portable skating ramp.

Food trucks will be on-site all afternoon at the event and will include Canvas Food Truck & Catering offering American fare including hamburgers, wraps, fries and drinks. Good Times Classic Ice Cream truck will offer favorites like Choco Tacos, Drumsticks, Big Sticks, frozen fruit bars and more.

We encourage everyone to walk, bike or bus your way to this event. There will be a free bike valet located under the trees on the Barman Avenue side of the park. Also consider taking the Culver CityBus to this event! Plan your route by visiting the Culver City bus website. Parking for the event is available in the Veterans Memorial Park parking lot along Culver Blvd.
