Stolen Meat Truck Pursuit Ends In Suspect's Arrest In Culver City

The chase came to an end when the stolen truck collided with a parked car, which then forced the car to smash into a Culver City home.

CULVER CITY, CA – A shirtless suspected burglar was chased down and arrested by police in Culver City Wednesday morning after a dramatic chase. The Los Angeles Police Department went on a pursuit of a stolen meat truck driven by the suspect, and the chase came to a end in the area of Mentone Avenue and Braddock Avenue when the stolen West Coast Prime Meats truck collided with a parked car, which then forced the parked car to smash into a home.

The suspect jumped out of the car and ran through a home that was under construction onto the next street, a neighbor told KTLA. Officers were in nearby driveways with their guns drawn, the man said.

No injures were reported as a result of the vehicle hitting the home, which belongs to a couple and their two small children, neighbors told KTLA. The suspect was taken into to custody a short distance away from the end of the pursuit.
