On the evening of August 26th the City Council in Culver City identified the Coalition for Smoke-Free Living and invited the Coalition to participate in a discussion concerning possible jurisdiction wide strategies designed to reduce exposure to second and thirdhand smoke in multi-unit housing.
Council concluded the discussion by directing staff to expeditiously investigate different solutions implemented in other cities and their effectiveness as well as compose a comprehensive list of items to be included in a potential solution to health issues resulting from exposure to second and thirdhand smoke in multi-unit housing that would be considered at a later date.
